If you're a new guitarist and want to learn the basics, or if your old guitar is in the closet and you want to pick it up again, this class is for you. You will also learn how to take care of your guitar, tune it, change strings and more.
Ashley Loertscher will teach a "Guitar 101" class - the notes, the chords, and songs for beginners.
Attendance is limited to 10 people, ages 8 to Adult.
Ashley started playing guitar at 16, teaching herself on her sister’s classical guitar—which was never returned. She has been teaching beginning guitarists for 7 years.
She loves folk music, classics, and contemporary acoustic guitar songs, and is always happy to learn new songs her students request. Her favorite place to play guitar is around a campfire with family and friends singing along.
Outside of music, Ashley enjoys running marathons, backpacking, and spending time with her husband and three kids.
